Ms. Nilgun Sirin – I am the owner and founder of Legendary Journeys.  I was born into a family which dwelt in the middle of  several famous archeological sites.  The family hosted many travelers and experts of archeology when there was no tourism or means of accommodation in the country.

I was educated in an American boarding missionary  school.  Continued my studies in the Aegean University in Izmir. Majored in economy and tourism.  I started my career as one of the first pioneers in the field of tourism as a professional tour guide  in early 70’s.

In 90’s there started a new stage in my career when I was asked to manage one of the most reputable cargo –shipping and tourism company in Turkey owned by two brothers  of Dutch origin.  I gained experience as a travel agent for 18 years with the Company.

In the mean while I was the first to start all special events in the ancient sites.  I am a pioneer for fulfilling  many programs for non- profit organizations and incentive groups. During that period I had chance of working with many experienced  people from the  travel world.  After the Company changed hands in 2000-decided to start my own business.

Added more international organizations like Young Presidents Organization and Turkey portion of “around the world programs on private jets”- to my list which brought more experience and responsibility to my career.  My greatest satisfaction is to  share my  experience with  those who would like to visit Turkey  as a traveler.
